Powys Children and Young People's Partnership (CYPP) is a cross agency group that has the overarching strategic responsibility for the planning, development and commissioning of services to meet the needs of children and young people.
Its role is to secure and enable effective interagency co-operation to improve outcomes for children and young people. The partnership brings together a wide range of interests including public, private and voluntary and community sectors.
The CYPP is supported in their work by the Children and Young People's Partnership Team which is hosted, on behalf of the CYPP, by Powys County Council.

Welsh Government’s Families First programme promotes that clear systems for multi-agency support, with an emphasis on prevention and early intervention are put in place. The Joint Assessment Family Framework (JAFF) which includes a ‘Team Around the Family’ model of working is named in the Families First guidance as the backbone of this integrated working.
A Video have been produced by the JAFF Team explaining what JAFF is.
